El Solar

I love, love, love this place. My best girlfriend Jane has the luxury of owning a home in Puerto Vallarta with her lovely husband and delightful kid Niko. I first visited PV for her destination wedding a few years ago and fell in love immediately.

Why is it so great?

Beaches. Nothing says vacation to me like the beach. I know it’s cliche but staring at the waves and the ocean creates such a feeling of contentment and relaxation I cannot even begin to describe to you.

Food. Tacos, ceviches, aguachiles, tostadas, elotes, gorditas, enchiladas, chichironnes,  paletes. Seriously. Need I say more?

People. The people of this town are sweet, friendly and create such a warm atmosphere that I miss it the second I return to the East Coast.
